Description: Posted by COWFIDDY: "ive had a thumpstar110 at my house for a week now and have ridden it 6 times. my friend bought it and keeps it at my house cuz he dosnt want his parents to know he bought it. i own 2 XRs, yz400, and a waveblaster. ive owned a lot of dirt/street bikes and quads so i have a lot of riding/racing experience. ive had dirt and street tires on it and have tested both. so here is my review for people who want to know about these bikes. on the street it is hard to wheelie cuz of the extend swingarm and bouncy rear shock. it is hard to stoppie, the brakes are good but the front is springy and makes it unstable with the weight on the front forks. the swingarm is to long to put a 12bar on it, so overall it is not that good of a stuntbike. however it corners very good and the brakes are very good. the tranny gears are to far apart most the time your bogging in high gears but over reving in low gears, and the manual clutch is useless and some times a burden. the extra weight over an xr is really noticed on the street. we raced it against a xr with kitaco 88 stock head and the thump lost. it was close though, but not faster we switched riders and same thing. on the dirt the front forks are to soft, and the rear shock is a pogo stick. once again the brakes are good and it handles corners awesome, and the riding position is good. the extra weight isnt felt in the dirt this thing is faster in the dirt than on the street. the clutch is awesome and gives an awesome roosting through the whole corner, im really faster with a clutch. the only prob is with the manual clutch if you crash racing you have to put it in neutral before you start it cuz the kickstart dosnt engage with the clutch pulled in. overall it is a good bike for a better price ($1500). all this bike really needs is heavy fluid in the forks and an i-shock out back, and it would be a good dirt bike. i hope this helps anyone who was looking at these bikes."-By COWFIDDY
